Mungeli Receives a Mega Gift Worth ₹353 Crore; CM Sai to Inaugurate Over 400 Development Projects Today

Mungeli (Chhattisgarh) : Today marks a truly momentous day for Mungeli district in terms of development. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will gift the district development schemes worth over ₹353.58 crore.

During a grand ceremony organised at the district headquarters, a total of 414 development works will be inaugurated or have their foundation stones laid.

A Massive Scale of Inaugurations and Groundbreaking Ceremonies; Development Set to Gain New Momentum

During this mega-event, 284 completed projects—constructed at a cost of ₹152.02 crore—will be inaugurated, while the Bhoomi Pujan (groundbreaking ceremony) will be performed for 130 projects worth ₹201.56 crore.

The main event will take place at the Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee Stadium, where special arrangements have been made regarding administration and security.

Departure from Raipur in the Morning; CM to Reach Mungeli After Events Across Several Districts

According to the scheduled itinerary, the Chief Minister will depart from Raipur in the morning and first arrive at Kaliba village in the Kunkuri block of Jashpur district.

Subsequently, he will attend an event at Pandatarai in the Pandariya block of Kabirdham district, followed by his participation in a state-level conference organized in Dongariya. Following these engagements, he will proceed to Mungeli.

Unveiling of Statues of Eminent Personalities; The City Set to Gain a New Identity

Upon reaching Mungeli, the Chief Minister will unveil statues of distinguished personalities installed at various squares and intersections across the city. These include statues of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, Guru Ghasidas, Maharana Pratap, and Mata Karma.

Focus on Roads, Schools, Healthcare, and Water Schemes

Several key projects will be inaugurated during the main ceremony held at the stadium. These include schemes related to road construction, canals and anicuts, the Mungeli-Bhatgaon road, the Livelihood College route, Swami Atmanand Schools, the Jal Jeevan Mission, Mahtari Sadan (maternity homes), hostels, Anganwadi centers, and digital facilitation centers.

Laying a New Foundation for Development—From Village to City: Groundbreaking Ceremonies for Multiple Projects

Alongside this, groundbreaking ceremonies will be held for various projects across different sectors, including Community Health Centers, Urban Primary Health Centers, bridges, footpaths, pond beautification, and the construction of Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs). The administration believes that this event will prove to be a milestone in the development of the district.

Return to Raipur in the Evening; Tour to Conclude as Scheduled

Following the conclusion of the program, the Chief Minister will return to Raipur by helicopter.

The administration and the police department remain on high alert regarding the entire tour to ensure that all scheduled events are conducted smoothly.
