Raipur: During his visit to Jashpur on Sunday May 10, 2026 , Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai participated in the Pran Pratishtha (consecration) ceremony of the newly constructed Kalibeshwar Mahadev Temple in the village of Kaliba, located in the Kunkuri block. His wife, Kaushalya Sai, was also present on this occasion.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai performed a parikrama (circumambulation) within the Yagna Mandap while chanting Harinam Sankirtan. He then performed rituals and prayers in the Yagnashala (sacrificial hall), offering prayers for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state.

Describing the construction of the temple as a significant undertaking deeply connected to the region’s faith, cultural consciousness, and social unity, he extended his best wishes to all the devotees, Sai added.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai stated that our Sanatan culture conveys a message of service, harmony, social cohesion, and brotherhood. Temples are not merely centers of faith; they also serve as powerful mediums for uniting society and keeping our culture and traditions alive. Such religious events infuse positive energy into society and play a vital role in bringing people closer to one another, he noted.

While congratulating and extending his best wishes to the villagers on the completion of the new temple, Chief Minister Sai announced a grant of ₹25 lakh for the construction of a community hall in the village of Kaliba. Additionally, he announced the construction of a community hall and a replica depicting the various postures of Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) at Hanuman Tekri, CM Sai remarked.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Sai highlighted the key achievements of his 28-month tenure, noting that the state government has rapidly implemented most of the guarantees pledged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He stated that, under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana—an initiative aimed at economically empowering women—a sum exceeding ₹17,500 crore has so far been transferred directly into women’s bank accounts across 27 installments, CM affirmed.

Chief Minister Sai remarked that Chhattisgarh is the maternal home of Lord Shri Ram, and under the Ramlala Darshan Yojana, the state government has already facilitated darshan (holy viewing) of Lord Shri Ram for over 42,000 devotees. Additionally, through the Chief Minister Teerth Darshan Yojana, pilgrimage tours to 19 major religious sites across the country are being organised, he said .

Chief Minister Sai announced that Sushasan Tihar (Good Governance Festival) is being organised across the state to ensure the prompt resolution of the general public’s grievances. Furthermore, special revenue camps have been set up specifically to resolve revenue-related cases.

He appealed to the public to avail themselves of these camps to the fullest extent. He added that a ‘Chief Minister Helpline’ would be launched shortly, for which a toll-free number will be issued. Through this medium, citizens will be able to register their complaints, and arrangements will be made to ensure their resolution within a stipulated timeframe. In the event of a failure to resolve issues in a timely manner, action will also be initiated against the concerned officials, CM affirmed.

Chief Minister Sai stated that under the ‘Electricity Bill Payment Resolution Scheme,’ camps are being organised across the state to address people’s issues regarding electricity bills, and electricity dues amounting to ₹757 crore are being waived off . He appealed to the public to register in order to avail the benefits of this scheme, he urged .

Chief Minister Sai noted that 515 newly constituted Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS) in the state were recently launched virtually. With this addition, the total number of cooperative societies in the state has risen to 2,573.

These PACS will now function as multi-purpose societies, thereby making facilities such as fertilisers, seeds, and short-term loans available to farmers in their immediate vicinity, while also rendering the paddy procurement process simpler and more convenient. CM Sai remarked.

On this occasion, Padma Shri Jageshwar Yadav, Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Matikala Board Shambhunath Chakraborty, District Panchayat President Salik Sai, Temple Committee President Upendra Yadav, Janpad President Sushila Sai, former Parliamentary Secretary Bharat Sai, public representatives, officials and staff, and a large number of devotees were present.
