Raipur: Day before Yesterday , Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inspected the LRC Center in Kosrangi, located within the Arang development block. Acting swiftly on an announcement made during a ‘Jan Chaupal’ (public interaction session) held in Kosrangi, 50 free sewing machines were distributed today to the women members of the ‘Meera’ and ‘Radha’ Village Organisations in Kosrangi.

During his inspection of the LRC Center, Chief Minister Sai met with the women of the Village Organisations to inquire about their livelihood activities and ongoing work. During the ‘Jan Chaupal,’ the women had put forward a request for the provision of sewing machines to boost their self-employment initiatives. Taking their request seriously, Chief Minister Sai issued on-the-spot directives to officials to arrange for the sewing machines without delay.

In compliance with the Chief Minister’s directives, and under the guidance of Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh, the sewing machines were presented yesterday to the women members of the Village Organisations. The distribution took place in the presence of District Panchayat Member Guru Saurabh Saheb and Janpad Panchayat Arang President Takeshwari Murli Sahu.

Sapna Patel, a member of the Village Organisation in Kosrangi, stated, ” Day before Yesterday , Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visited our village for a ‘Jan Chaupal’ session with my group. We requested sewing machines during the event, and true to his word, the district administration provided us with the machines today.” Yashoda Mandle, a member of the ‘Meera’ Village Organisation, added, “Day before Yesterday , the Chief Minister’s program was held in our village, Kosrangi; we requested sewing machines during the event, and we have now received them.”

Elated by the swift fulfillment of their request, the women remarked that Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai had demonstrated a deep understanding of their needs by taking an immediate decision—a move that will provide them with renewed strength on their journey toward self-reliance. Expressing their gratitude to the Chief Minister, they affirmed that this support would prove instrumental in strengthening the economic stability of their families.
