Raipur : Chhattisgarh is set to take its industrial growth story and investment potential to an international platform, with Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai leading a high-level state delegation to Singapore for the Singapore-India Network for Growth (SING) Forum 2026 from October 3 to 6.
According to the state government, the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, has selected Chhattisgarh and Haryana as the two states to participate in the forum.
The visit is expected to provide Chhattisgarh an opportunity to showcase its industrial development, investment potential and emerging business ecosystem before global investors, while opening channels for longer-term engagement with Singapore’s business community, investment institutions and international companies.
The inaugural edition of SING Forum 2026 is being organised by the Singapore Business Federation and will bring together senior government representatives, industry leaders and investors from India and Singapore. The forum is aimed at strengthening economic ties and identifying new opportunities in trade, investment and future collaboration.
Direct Dialogue With Global Business Leaders
During the Singapore visit, Sai is scheduled to participate in a CEO Roundtable where he will interact with chief executives and senior representatives of major Singapore-based companies, investment institutions and global business groups.
The Chief Minister will present Chhattisgarh’s industrial development policy, incentives available to investors, the OneClick single-window system and the state’s efforts to create a business-friendly environment for setting up and operating industries.
He will also invite international investors to participate in the state’s broader vision for a developed Chhattisgarh.
The investment outreach will place particular emphasis on sectors capable of generating substantial employment and technology-led growth. Electronics, automobiles, IT and ITeS, Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and pharmaceuticals will be among the priority sectors during discussions.
The state government expects the visit to help Chhattisgarh establish direct connections with companies and institutions involved in major investment decisions across Southeast Asia and other global markets.
The delegation is also scheduled to engage with representatives of the Institute of Technical Education, Mandai Wildlife Reserve and Gardens by the Bay. Discussions will explore possible cooperation in skill development, wildlife conservation, horticulture and sustainable green development.
Sai said the Singapore visit would provide Chhattisgarh an important opportunity to connect with major global partners. He described the Ministry of External Affairs’ selection of the state for the SING Forum as a matter of pride and said the visit would seek to attract investment, create employment opportunities for young people and connect Chhattisgarh with global expertise and innovation.
The state delegation will include Chief Secretary Vikas Sheel, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Singh, Commerce and Industries Secretary Rajat Kumar, CSIDC Managing Director Vishwesh Kumar, and Chief Minister’s Officer on Special Duty Umesh Agrawal.
