Direct Interaction with Workers at Conservation Site

At the site, he interacts with 138 workers, explaining the scheme’s provisions and the importance of timely wage payments. He also personally records workers’ attendance through the National Mobile Monitoring System, or NMMS, app, reinforcing the emphasis on transparent implementation.

Officials are instructed to ensure that employment opportunities respond to local demand while creating useful assets for villages.

The plantation forms part of the visit’s wider emphasis on combining employment generation with productive rural assets.

Jaldoot App Supports Groundwater Monitoring

At Kathiya gram panchayat, Sinha launches post-monsoon measurement of well-water levels through the Jaldoot app.

He personally takes a water-level reading from a well and uploads it to the application.

The exercise will help assess groundwater conditions after the monsoon and support the preparation of water conservation plans.

Review Meeting Stresses Wages and Accountability

Following the field inspections, Sinha chairs a review meeting at Bemetara Circuit House with officers and employees of the District Panchayat and all Janpad Panchayats in the district.

He directs them to prioritise employment generation, connect more rural families with the scheme and ensure timely payment of wages.

Regular monitoring of construction works, transparent procedures and completion within prescribed deadlines receive particular emphasis.

The state-level team, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Premlata Padmakar, the Executive Engineer of Rural Engineering Services, Assistant Project Officer, Janpad Panchayat Chief Executive Officers, Sub-Divisional Officers, Programme Officers and other departmental personnel participate in the inspection and review.
