For this, the logo and mascot unveiling ceremony was held today on Saturday , November , 2 , 2024 . The logo of Bastar Olympics reflects the culture and traditions of Bastar.

This is worth  mentioning that Chhattisgarh govt. is organising the games from November 1. This exceptional initiative is meant to persuade youngsters, instill sporting spirit, and help  to ex-Maoists to settle  down in mainstream

Deputy CM Vijay Sharma, who heads the home department, told  newsmen that  the event is focused on children and youth, mainly those victimised by insurgency. “This will boost up their confidence and spirit for looking forward in life. Those who perform well , will be felicitated and govt will help them explore their field of interest,” he said.
The games come at a time when intense security operations have pushed Maoists on the backfoot and government notices a clear path for development. As many as 41 schools are closed for two decades are on the process of reopening. Sai Government hopes that Olympics will play a positive role in bringing those boys and girls back to main stream who have lost the path of development and got off the right track .
