Government will keep stray cattle in sanctuary
In the last few days, there have been incidents of cattle dying in road accidents and common people dying due to cattle. Stray cattle on the road have become a big problem in the state. The government will keep stray cattle there by creating a cow sanctuary.
A system like Gauthan can be started just like the Congress government. The government is also working on forming a team that can rescue the cattle on the roads, so that accidents can be prevented or proper treatment of cattle can be arranged in case of any kind of accident.
Accidents in the last few days
More than 2 dozen cattle have died in accidents in different districts of Chhattisgarh in the months of June, July, August.
On Tuesday, 13 August, 22 dead cows were found lying at different places on the Gatapar-Kosmandi road in Palari area of Balodabazar. Postmortem revealed that all the cows died due to suffocation. They were thrown at different places in the darkness of the night.
On 13 July, a police vehicle was hit by a speeding truck in Balodabazar district. 3 Jawans were injured in the accident. 4 cattle died in the accident.
On 2 August, a truck hit cattle sitting on the highway in Korea district. 5 cows died on the spot in the road accident.
In the month of July, a truck hit more than 20 cattle in Tilda of Raipur district. 15 cows died after being hit by the truck. The matter is of Kirna Gram Panchayat adjoining Tilda.
