Bihar: There is a lot of politics going on in the country right now over the BJP’s slogan ‘If we get divided, we will be cut off, if we are united, we will be safe’. In return to this slogan of NDA, India has given the slogan ‘If we join, we will win’. The series of such slogans is still going on. However, in Bihar, NDA seems to be divided over these slogans. In fact, CM Nitish’s party JDU has been openly opposing such slogans since the beginning. Now, after Ghulam Gaus, the party’s big Muslim face and MLA Khalid Anwar has expressed his opposition to the slogan ‘If we get divided, we will be cut off’.
‘JDU’s ideology is not mortgaged’
Reacting to NDA’s slogan ‘If we get divided, we will be cut off, if we are united, we will be safe’, JDU leader Khalid Anwar said on Monday November 11,2024 , ‘We cannot promote any slogan whose aim is to divide or break the society. We cannot promote any hateful slogan.’
Khalid Anwar said, ‘JDU has not mortgaged its ideology. We have formed an alliance with BJP for the development of the country including Bihar. We respect all religions. Our party has always worked hard for the country to remain united and move forward. There are assembly elections in Maharashtra, we are fighting on two seats in the NDA in Jharkhand. There are by-elections on four seats in Bihar. Nitish has worked for all sections. We are asking for votes on the basis of Nitish Kumar’s work.’
‘JDU takes everyone along’
The JDU leader further said, ‘Such slogans are harming those who want to take everyone along. Like JDU wants to take everyone along. We talk about employment and development. Khalid Anwar has made it clear through his statement that the party does not agree with such statements and slogans.’
BJP gave the slogan across the country
Let us Inform you that the slogan ‘Batoge to Katoge ‘ is being given by BJP across the country. In this, their allies (NDA) are supporting them. Its posters are also being put up at various places. This slogan is also being given in Jharkhand and Maharashtra. BJP is trying to cash in on the upcoming elections through these slogans. BJP says that Hindus will be safe only if they remain united, if they divide, they will be cut. However, JDU has clearly expressed its opposition to this.
