Raipur: A delegation of Rajnandgaon citizens made a courtesy call on Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai in the committee room of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. Addressing the delegation, Chief Minister Sai said that our government is continuously working in public interest with complete transparency. Encouraging innovation in administrative functioning, all the processes are being made online in a phased manner, due to which smooth, simple and accessible services are being made available to the citizens.

Chief Minister Sai said that on the occasion of ‘National Panchayat Day’ on April 24 Atal Digital Seva Kendras have been started in selected Gram Panchayats of the state. Through these centers, banking facilities are now being provided at the Gram Panchayat level itself. This initiative is an important step towards digital empowerment of the villagers. In the coming time, other panchayats of the state will also be connected with this facility.
The delegation from Rajnandgaon expressed thanks and gratitude to Chief Minister Sai for Prayas Vidyalaya , Nalanda Campus, and other important development works in the district.
On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that there has been significant progress in drinking water expansion, road construction, and other infrastructural works in Rajnandgaon district within the last one and a half years. Various construction works costing more than Rs 600 crore have been approved, whose direct benefits are being received by the citizens of urban and rural areas. This reflects the commitment of the state government towards public welfare and development.
Chief Minister Sai assured the delegation that the state government is committed to lead Chhattisgarh towards sustainable development by working on the principles of balanced, inclusive and sustainable development.
On this occasion, former MP Pradeep Gandhi, Komal Rajput, three-tier Panchayat officials and eminent citizens of Rajnandgaon district were present.
