A fierce fight between a journalist and a writer during a live debate, video

Delhi: Journalist and former politician Ashutosh got into a fight with writer Anand Ranganathan during a live TV news debate on a news channel. Ashutosh has accused the writer of insulting him. In the viral video, Ashutosh and Anand Ranganathan are discussing the bail granted to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the Supreme Court in the money laundering case related to Delhi’s excise policy matter. During this, the debate between the two turns into a heated argument.

During the debate, the issue of Kejriwal’s bail was raised on PM Modi’s visit to the house of Chief Justice of India Dhananjay Chandrachud for worship during Ganesh Utsav. Anand Ranganathan questioned Ashutosh’s comment in which he said that as a journalist he is free to go wherever he wants. On this Anand Ranganathan said that if as a journalist he is free to go wherever he wants, then this rule applies to everyone else. It applies to the Chief Justice as well.

During the debate, Ashutosh accused Anand Ranganathan of making personal allegations. Ashutosh moved towards Anand Ranganathan in the studio itself. However, senior anchor Navika Kumar intervened and calmed down the fight. Anand Ranganathan told Ashutosh, “Stop shouting, I am not your father.” In response, Ashutosh scolded Anand Ranganathan a lot.
