A plane carrying more than 100 people crashes in Kazakhstan; turns into a fireball

Initial reports revealed that the Azerbaijan Airlines plane was flying from Azerbaijan to Russia. Meanwhile, it developed some problems and the crew asked for permission to make an emergency landing at Aktau airport. However, during this time the plane crashed.

A plane has crashed near Aktau airport in Kazakhstan. There were 105 passengers and 5 crew members on board the plane. According to preliminary information, the plane crashed while landing in the city of Aktau and turned into a fireball. Initial reports have revealed that the Azerbaijan Airlines plane was going

from Azerbaijan to Russia. Meanwhile, it developed some technical fault. After this, the plane sought permission for an emergency landing from Aktau airport. However, during this time the plane crashed.

Some people survived in the plane
The news agency quoted the Emergency Ministry of the Central Asian country as saying that some people survived in the plane. Emergency services are present at the spot. At the same time, Kazakhstan media quoted Health Minister Akmaral Alnazarova as saying that 12 passengers, including a child, have been rescued alive. We have sent all the rescue teams including experts, traumatologists, neurosurgeons to the spot. Air ambulance has also been arranged. We are trying to provide assistance on the spot. Relief and rescue operations are on.

How did the accident happen?

It is being claimed that a bird collided with the Embraer 190 AHY8243 aircraft that took off. Due to this, the pilot of the plane contacted Aktau Airport for emergency landing. However, before the plane could land, it crashed due to steering failure and caught fire with a blast. At present, the fire has been extinguished.
