Anil Ambani called by ED for questioning, raids were conducted in 17 thousand crore loan fraud case

The ED (Enforcement Directorate) has issued summons to Anil Ambani and called him for questioning on August 5. Earlier, the central agency had raided business entities linked to Anil Ambani.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Reliance Group Chairman and MD Anil Ambani for questioning in connection with the ongoing investigation into the alleged ₹17,000 crore loan fraud case. Sources related to the case told that he has been asked to appear at the ED headquarters in New Delhi on August 5. Earlier, the central agency had raided business entities linked to Anil Ambani.

Last week, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) raided 50 business entities linked to the Reliance Group and 25 individuals under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). The raids were carried out at at least 35 locations in Mumbai.
