He performed rituals dedicated to Lord Bholenath and Shri Shri 108 Shri Satyanarayan Baba, and prayed for the prosperity, happiness, and well-being of the people of the state. Chief Minister also extended Mahashivratri greetings and best wishes to citizens across Chhattisgarh.

During the visit, Chief Minister CM Sai laid the foundation stone for development works worth ₹1.20 crore to be undertaken under the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) fund. The proposed works include construction of granite flooring and a shed in front of the main building, a separate shed for visitors’ rest and meals, toilet, and a cement concrete road in the parking area.
Congratulating local residents on these development works, he said the facilities would enhance convenience for devotees visiting the shrine.

He added that the state government is moving forward on the path of public welfare with the blessings of spiritual leaders and the trust of the people.
The shrine, located about seven kilometres from the Raigarh district headquarters, has long been a prominent place of worship. A large number of devotees regularly visit the site to seek blessings of Shri Shri 108 Shri Satyanarayan Baba and Lord Bholenath.
According to local accounts, Shri Shri 108 Shri Satyanarayan Baba has been engaged in deep spiritual practice since 1998. In 2003, he was conferred the title “Shri Shri 108,” after which the shrine gained wider recognition. It is believed that the Baba collected stones to shape a Shivling at the site and made it his sacred place of worship. Carried out in the open in every season, his spiritual observances reflect deep commitment and discipline.
Mayor Jeevardhan Chauhan, Municipal Corporation Chairman Degree Lal Sahu, Collector Mayank Chaturvedi, Senior Superintendent of Police Shashimohan Singh, along with other local public representatives, Sarpanch, officials and a large number of devotees were present on the occasion.
