Bhilai MLA Devendra Yadav arrested, hundreds of supporters including PCC chief Baij gathered outside the bungalow

Bhilai Nagar MLA Devendra Yadav has been arrested in the Balodabazar violence case. Balodabazar Bhatapara police had reached the MLA’s house in Sector 5 since 7 am. They were waiting for Devendra Yadav to come out of his bungalow since morning.

ASP Abhishek Singh is leading the police team. Apart from the ASP of police, DSP Balodabazar Ishwar Chandrakar, Inspector Yogita Khaparde and in-charges of more than half a dozen police stations are present at the bungalow. Supporters have also gathered outside the MLA’s bungalow, a large number of Congress leaders and workers including PCC Chief Deepak Baij are present on the spot and are raising slogans against the police.

The MLA representative says that the state government is trying to forcibly implicate Bhilai Nagar MLA Devendra Yadav. At the same time, supporters of Devendra Yadav are also gathered on the spot to protest against the police action.

Let us tell you that the incident of arson took place by gheraoing the Balodabazar Collector Office. After this incident, the government removed the Collector and SP from there with immediate effect. Bhilai Nagar MLA Devendra Yadav was also given a notice regarding this matter. Police says that before the arson incident, Bhilai Nagar MLA Devendra Yadav was also present there.

The MLA also gave a speech there. Based on this, Balodabazar police is continuously issuing notices to record Devendra Yadav’s statement. But MLA Devendra Yadav has been continuously refusing to record his statement in Balodabazar police station. After continuously issuing notices, today morning Balodabazar police reached MLA Devendra Yadav’s residence in Sector 5.
