Bilaspur: Along with the results of elections in two states of the country, the results of the by-elections held in Chhattisgarh were also declared on Saturday. In the by-election held in Raipur City South Assembly, the capital of Chhattisgarh, BJP candidate Sunil Soni defeated his rival Akash Sharma by more than 46000 votes. In such a situation, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, who arrived to attend various programs in Bilaspur on Saturday, NOvember 23 , 2024 described this victory as historic and said that the public has put its stamp on the development work done by the BJP in Chhattisgarh in one year. Victory in the election with such a huge number of votes shows that the public is appreciating the work of the BJP government.
On the victory of BJP in Maharashtra elections, CM Sai said that the development model of BJP is being liked across the country and the public is giving approval to it, however, success was not achieved in the elections in Jharkhand, it will be assessed and the defeat in the elections will be reviewed, Sai said .
