‘Government brings credit guarantee scheme for MSMEs’
Addressing a joint session of Parliament, President Draupadi Murmu said, ‘The credit guarantee scheme for MSMEs and e-commerce export centres are encouraging business in all sectors of the country.’

The Union Budget will be presented on February 1. The budget session will be held in two phases from January 31 to April 4. Lots of work done for the middle class
The President said that my government has recently decided to constitute the Eighth Pay Commission. It has been decided to give 50 percent pension to the employees under the Unified Pension Scheme. The government is also committed to fulfilling the dream of the middle class to have their own house. RERA law was made and people are being given subsidy on houses. The dream of people to travel by plane has been fulfilled through the Udan scheme. The middle class has also got the benefit of manifold increase in the number of seats for studying every subject.

The government is paying special attention to the employment of youth
My government has paid special attention to the education of the youth and creating new employment opportunities for them. The youth will also be given opportunities to do internships in top companies. The government has approved Rs 70 thousand crore under the PM Gram Sadak Yojana. When the country is celebrating the birth centenary of Atal ji, his Atal Gram Sadak Yojana is touching new heights.
President Murmu said that the feeling of empowerment that arises in the poor by getting a dignified life helps them fight poverty. 10 crore connections were given under the PM Ujjwala Yojana. Such schemes have given the poor the confidence that they can live with dignity. A new class of middle class has been created in the country, which is accelerating the progress of the country. The more the middle class dreams, the more the country will fly. The government has praised the middle class.

The President said that today the country is seeing the rapid implementation of big decisions.
These decisions benefited the poor, women and the deprived of the country. My government has decided to provide housing to three crore families by expanding the PM Awas Yojana. More than two crore ownership cards have been issued so far under the PM Swamitva Yojana. Crores of people are being given assistance under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and Ayushman Yojana.

Many bills including Waqf Amendment will be introduced
The government is preparing to introduce some other bills along with the Waqf Amendment Bill in the first phase of the budget session. The Muslim Waqf (Repeal) Bill will also be introduced along with the Waqf (Amendment) Bill. Apart from this, the Protection of Interests in Aircraft Bill, Tribhuvan Cooperative University Bill and Immigration and Foreigners Bill are also included. Along with this, the Finance Bill, 2025 and related grant demands and appropriation bills will also be introduced. There are also 10 other such bills, which are pending in both the houses since the last session.
