CG CS Awards Letters of Appreciation to Ministry Officials and Staff for E-Office Performance and Punctuality

Raipur: Chief Secretary Vikas Sheel awarded letters of appreciation on Monday June 15, 2026 at the Mantralaya (Mahanadi Bhawan) to officials and staff members for the month of May. These awards recognised excellence in processing files via the e-office system and maintaining punctuality in office attendance.

On this occasion, the Chief Secretary urged all officials and staff to strive for excellence in their e-office operations and instructed everyone to report to the office on time. He encouraged the high-performing officials and staff and congratulated them on receiving the letters of appreciation.

In terms of departmental performance on the e-office platform, the Home Department secured the first position, followed by the Social Welfare Department in second place and the General Administration Department in third place. The letters of appreciation were received by Shahla Nigar (Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Department), Neha Champawat (Secretary, Home Department), and Rajat Kumar (Secretary, General Administration Department).

The Chief Secretary honored departmental secretaries for outstanding work on the e-office platform. Rajat Kumar, Secretary of the General Administration Department and the Industries & Commerce Department, was honored with the first position for excellence in file processing via e-office. Sushma Sawant, Principal Secretary of the Law and Legislative Affairs Department, was honored with the second position, while Himshikhar Gupta, Secretary of the Home and Labour Departments, secured the third position for his excellent work on the e-office platform.

The Chief Secretary also awarded letters of appreciation to other staff members—including Joint Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries, Under Secretaries, Section Officers, Senior Secretariat Assistants, and Junior Secretariat Assistants—for their outstanding performance on the e-office system.

In the Joint Secretary category, Anupam Trivedi (Joint Secretary, Scheduled Tribe Development Department) was honored with the first position for excellent e-office work, followed by Bhupendra Kumar Rajput (Scheduled Tribe Development Department) in second place. Kamlesh Bansod (Joint Secretary, Transport Department) was honored with the third position. In the Deputy Secretary category, Shri Doordeshi Ram Sontapar (Deputy Secretary, Department of Forest and Climate Change) was awarded first place, while Kishore Kumar Bhuarya (Deputy Secretary, General Administration Department-1) secured second place. Ritu Verma (Deputy Secretary, General Administration Department-6) was honored with the third position.

In the Under Secretary category, Arun Kumar Mishra (Under Secretary, Law and Legislative Affairs Department) was awarded first place. Puran Lal Sahu (Under Secretary, Home Department) secured second place, and Maganlal Pawar (Under Secretary, Commerce and Industries Department) was honored with the third position.

The Chief Secretary honored Section Officers for outstanding performance in e-Office operations. Nandkumar Meshram (Section Officer, General Administration Department-4 & 1) was awarded first place, Virendra Kumar (Section Officer, Health Department) secured second place, and Shri Bholenath Sarthi (Section Officer, Department of Forest and Climate Change) was honored with the third position. Similarly, in the Senior Secretariat Assistant category, Durgesh Ratre (Senior Secretariat Assistant, Medical Education Department) was honored with the first position. Ramgopal Sen (Senior Secretariat Assistant, Public Health Engineering Department) secured second place, and Kamlesh Yadu (Senior Office Assistant, School Education Department) was honored with the third position.


Likewise, in the Junior Secretariat Assistant category, Umesh Yadav (Junior Secretariat Assistant, Urban Administration Department) was awarded first place, Bhanuprasad (Junior Secretariat Assistant, Electronics and Information Technology Department) secured second place, and Surendra Kumar (Junior Assistant, General Administration Department-2) was honored with the third position.

Additionally, in the Technical Section (Secretariat) category for Grade-1, 2, and 3 Computer Operators, Dipesh Kumar was honored with the first position.

Officers and employees have been honored for their punctuality and attendance during office hours.

Those honored include Anand Kumar Patel (Under Secretary, Urban Administration Department), Bhavana Yadav (Steno-typist, Revenue Department), Hari Prasad (Junior Secretariat Assistant, Food and Civil Supplies Department), Harish Dewangan (Private Secretary, General Administration Department), and Jayant Kumar Dewangan (Chief Accounts Officer, General Administration Department). Similarly, Jidhan Ram Sahu (Office Asst .

General Administration Department), Lok Narayan Sharma (Assistant Section Officer, Higher Education Department), and Om Prakash Patre (Under Secretary, Chief Secretary’s Office) were honored.

Others honored for punctuality include Purushottam Lal Nishad (Senior Secretariat Assistant, General Administration Department), Pushpanjali Gajbhiye (Assistant Grade-2, Finance Department), Rajkumar Sori (Office Asst. , General Administration Department), Rajesh Kumar Jain (Section Officer, Animal Husbandry Department), Ramakant (Steno-typist, Panchayat and Rural Development Department), Ramesh Kumar Patel (Assistant Section Officer, General Administration Department), Shesh Narayan Sahu (Assistant Grade-2, Scheduled Tribes and Development Department), Sunil Maitri (Section Officer, Finance Department), and Umesh Kumar Thakre (Assistant Section Officer, Food and Civil Supplies Department).
