Chhattisgarh: Another big step towards good governance by the government, e-office system launched to make government work transparent and organized

Raipur. Chhattisgarh: To promote e-governance in Chhattisgarh and bring transparency in government work, IT has started being used on a large scale in all areas. In this sequence, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today launched three portals e-office system, Chief Minister’s Office Online Portal and Swagatham Portal. This initiative will increase efficiency and transparency in government work along with good governance.

As per the wishes of the Chief Minister, IT is being used in more and more areas to bring maximum transparency in government work, so that there is no scope for corruption. These three online portals have been prepared on the instructions of Chief Minister Sai, which were inaugurated by the Chief Minister by pressing a button here today at the Ministry Mahanadi Bhawan. During this, Chief Minister Sai launched the e-office system by digitally approving the file regarding giving instructions to the Chief Secretary to implement the e-office system in all departments.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said on this occasion that the launch of e-office system and Swagatham portal is an important step of the state government towards fulfilling the resolution of good governance. He said that our government is promoting the use of IT in all departments with the aim of zero tolerance against corruption and transparency in government work. We are working to take digital governance to every level.

Chief Minister Sai said that today is a historic day for Chhattisgarh. Today we have launched three online systems simultaneously for more transparency in government work and convenience of the common man. The launch of all three portals will prove to be a milestone in establishing good governance in the state. There will be no unnecessary delay in resolving files with the e-office system. The scope of error will be reduced. Tracking of the level at which the file is will be possible.

Similarly, Swagatam portal has also been launched for the convenience of visitors who come to meet the Chief Minister, ministers and officials in the ministry. Giving information about the launch of CMO portal, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that through this, common people will get information about the schemes, programs, public welfare decisions and work of the government.

It is worth noting that the e-office system has been implemented in the General Administration Department in the initial phase, which will be implemented in all departments gradually. In the e-office system, office documents will be digitalized. It used to take a lot of time to send documents from one office to another, this time will now be saved. Along with this, the scope of manipulation of documents will end. There will be no problem of documents getting lost or missing. Documents will be more secure in digital medium. He said that now files can be disposed of within the stipulated time limit. This will also make monitoring of the work of officers easier. With the advent of the e-office system, it will be easy for the general public to know the status of the disposal of their applications.

Similarly, the entry of visitors to the Ministry will become easier through the Swagatham portal. The security of the Ministry premises will be strengthened by maintaining the details related to the visitors. Along with this, the CMO portal was also launched today. Through the CMO portal, people will be able to get information about government schemes at a click. Through this portal, people will be able to know about the art, culture, history and other features of Chhattisgarh. Important information related to various districts of Chhattisgarh will be available on this portal.

On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel, MLA Motilal Sahu, Gajendra Yadav, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Chief Minister’s Secretary P Dayanand, Basavaraju S, Secretary of Good Governance and Convergence Department Rahul Bhagat, Secretary of General Administration Department Mukesh Bansal, Anbalgan P. and other concerned officials were present.
