Chhattisgarh Cadre IAS Officer Dr. Ravi Mittal Appointed Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office

Raipur: The Central Government has entrusted a highly significant responsibility to Dr. Ravi Mittal, a 2016-batch IAS officer of the Chhattisgarh cadre. He has been appointed as a Deputy Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on deputation.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Ravi Mittal has cultivated a reputation as a highly composed and grassroots-oriented officer. He completed his MBBS studies at the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) in Delhi. Leaving the medical profession behind, he chose the path of the Civil Services to dedicate himself to the service of the nation.

He was previously posted as the Collector of Jashpur. Dr. Mittal has also served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the District Panchayats in Mahasamund, Raigarh, and Raipur. Additionally, he served as the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Bagicha in 2018.

Prior to his move to Delhi, Dr. Ravi Mittal held the position of Commissioner Chhattisgarh Public Relations. He also served as the CEO of ‘Chhattisgarh Samvad’ and worked as a Joint Secretary in the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).
