Chhattisgarh got an important gift from revered Atal ji in the form of a new state – Chief Minister Sai

Chief Minister Sai attended the Foundation Day and Bharat Ratna revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee Memorial Seminar organised by A News Paper Group

Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the Foundation Day of a News Paper Group and the seminar organised in memory of Bharat Ratna revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the visionary and creator of Chhattisgarh state. The program was organised in the auditorium of Shri Balaji Medical College located in the capital.

The program was presided over by Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, while addressing the program, said that the creation of Chhattisgarh as a new state for the people of Chhattisgarh is the gift of Bharat Ratna revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji. We are moving on the path of all-round development of Chhattisgarh in accordance with his dreams.

Chief Minister Sai said that India is a country of villages and Bharat Ratna revered Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji has an important contribution in laying a network of roads in every village. The wave of development that has reached the villages today is the blessing of Atal Ji. It was during his reign that the Golden Quadrilateral scheme was implemented in the country and important works were also done in the telecom industry. It was Atal Ji who paved the way for the development of tribal areas by forming a separate department for scheduled tribes in the country.

In the program, the Chief Minister congratulated and wished the News Paper Group on the completion of 10 years. He said that the boldness and impartiality with which the News Paper Group has completed 10 years in Chhattisgarh today is highly commendable. This group should move ahead with the same boldness and impartiality and become the voice of the common people. Along with this, he praised the work of free delivery and treatment of women by Balaji Group and congratulated them.

Remembering Atal Ji, Chief Minister Sai said that he got the opportunity to work with him as an MP till 2004. He became the Prime Minister of the country thrice and as per the promise, he separated Chhattisgarh from Madhya Pradesh and created the state in 2000. He was not only a skilled politician but also a litterateur and poet. He used to present his speeches and talks in a very composed and impressive style. Even the opposition was impressed by his speeches.

In his address, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh said that Raipur edition of News paper was launched in 2016 and today it is entering its 10th year. This 10-year journey was not easy. He congratulated the group for this. He recalled that Arun Jaitley was present on the occasion of the launch of the first edition of News paper in 2016 and he gave his best wishes.

Today, after 10 years, News Paper Group and Balaji Group have made a proud place not only in the field of health but also in the world of news and have worked to take Pioneer to every village. Pioneer has earned a name by continuing its journey in different cities for 169 years.

Remembering Atal ji, Dr. Raman Singh said that he was also the editor of many newspapers. The work of connecting villages through the Rural Road Scheme was done by revered Atal ji. Under the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, he also worked to connect children with education. Despite foreign pressure, the nuclear test was completed only under the leadership of our Atal ji. During this, he also shared many 45-year-old memories related to Atal ji.

On this occasion, MLA Purandar Mishra also addressed the program and congratulated the Foundation Day. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Basna MLA Sampat Agarwal, Dr. Devendra Nayak, Dr. Neeta Nayak along with officers and employees of News paper Group and Balaji Group were present in the program.
