More than 10 thousand candidates tried their luck
According to the election officer, more than 10 thousand candidates tried their luck in the urban body elections. A total of 5,970 polling stations were set up for voting. Out of these, 1,531 were kept in sensitive and 132 in hypersensitive. The election officer said that the President of Basna Nagar Panchayat and 32 councilors in various municipal bodies have been elected unopposed.
