There should be a CBI inquiry into the Chhattisgarh police recruitment scam, said former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in response to a question from a media person
Rajnandgaon : Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel today on Sunday December 22 , 2024 visited village Baghera of Dongargarh assembly constituency of Rajnandgaon district and inaugurated various development works and performed Bhoomi Pujan. During this, he gave his best wishes to the people of the society on the occasion of Guru Ghasidas Jayanti fortnight.
While talking to the media persons , former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel surrounded Vishnu Deo Sai government regarding paddy procurement, recruitment scam and other matters and made many allegations against the government. Bhupesh Baghel said that people are suspicious about the Panchayat elections, time has passed but the dates of the elections have not been announced yet. About constable recruitment scam ,Bhupesh Baghel said that that a constable committed suicide in this case and what he has written on his hand is very worrying. He said that the family of the deceased and we have also demanded a CBI inquiry in the matter, Baghel added.
When asked about CG police recruitment scam, Bhupesh Baghel said that there are irregularities in all the recruitments taking place in the state. All the recruitments taking place are under investigations. The way there has been a scam in giving numbers and increasing the numbers in Rajnandgaon constable recruitment, many are guilty in it. Wherever recruitment is taking place, everyone should be investigated. Addressing from the stage, Bhupesh Baghel has also surrounded the state government regarding the matter of paddy procurement. He has targeted the government for the misconduct in the purchase gunny bags.
