Chief Minister Expresses Profound Grief Over Demise of COBRA Battalion Personnel in Dhamtari Road Accident

Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed deep sorrow over the untimely demise of brave personnel of the COBRA Battalion in a road accident that occurred in Dhamtari today on Saturday February 14, 2026 .

Describing the loss as deeply distressing, Chief Minister Sai stated that the passing of these valiant soldiers is profoundly heartbreaking and an irreparable loss.

Paying his respectful tributes to the departed personnel, Sai said that the role of the COBRA Battalion in maintaining the nation’s internal security and ensuring peace and order has always been of vital importance.

Conveying his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, Chief Minister Sai assured that the State Government stands firmly with them in this hour of grief, with utmost sensitivity and commitment.

CM Sai also prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls and wished a speedy recovery to the injured jawan. He affirmed that the State Government remains committed to extending every necessary assistance. He has directed the concerned officials to ensure proper medical treatment for the injured personnel.
