Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai paid tribute to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Late Late Lal Bahadur Shashtri by offering flowers Lal Bahadur Shastri by offering flowers to their photographs on their birth anniversaries at the Chief Minister’s residence office in the capital Raipur on Thursday October 02, 2025

Chief Minister Sai said that Mahatma Gandhi gave a new direction to the country’s freedom movement through the path of truth and non-violence. Gandhiji’s life teaches us that difficult situations can be overcome through strong devotion and the path of Satyagraha. He said that even today, Gandhiji’s ideas are useful in giving a better direction to society and we all draw inspiration from them.

Remembering former Prime Minister Late Lal Bahadur Shastri, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that Shastriji prioritised simplicity and service in his public life. He boosted the morale of the people with the slogan ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’. Chief Minister Sai said that Shastriji’s dedication and honesty will always inspire citizens.
