Jashpur Nagar : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on June 21 International Yoga Day practiced yoga with thousands of people at the district headquarters Jashpur. He congratulated and wished on International Yoga Day. The Chief Minister said that yoga is not a new discipline for our country. Yoga has been going on in our lives since ancient times. Our sages have invented it.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi established the importance of yoga on the world stage. He raised his voice in the United Nations General Assembly in the year 2014 and got it accepted at the global level. World Yoga Day is being celebrated every on June 21 since the year 2015.

It is a matter of great respect for all of us that the voice of yoga is resonating in 175 countries including the United Nations General Assembly. Along with the Chief Minister, public representatives, school children, common citizens, officers and employees practiced yoga with enthusiasm. During the visit of the yoga instructor, yoga practice was performed with various asanas including Chakra Asana, Ardha Chakra Asana, Kapala Bharati, Anulom-Vilom, Pranayama, Vajrashan.
CM Sai said that everyone should include yoga in their daily routine. Yoga keeps the mind and soul balanced. Take out some time from 24 hours of the day and night for yoga. This cures major diseases. Along with keeping the body healthy, there is also no possibility of diseases in the future. In his address, the Chief Minister emphasised on the use of generic medicines when medicines are needed. He said that these also have the same effect as branded medicines. Their price is very low. It is within the reach of the poor and is more beneficial. Everyone should definitely use it. A large number of children also participated in today’s yoga program. This keeps the mind of children calm and stable and they concentrate on studyies
Chief Minister performed Bhoomi Pujan of Nalanda Campus
Chief Minister also performed Bhoomi Pujan of Nalanda Campus on Yoga Inter national Day . The cost of this 500 seater campus is Rs 11 crore 29 lakh. It will be built in 2 acres. A garden will also be developed in it. He said that poor children will get more benefit from the campus. Now due to awareness, even the villagers and poor people are giving big exams and are also getting success. Not everyone can come to big cities to study. Therefore, the state government has taken the responsibility of building Nalanda campus in all the district headquarters and big cities.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai performed Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of 64 works worth Rs 107.81 crore. In these, Bhoomi Pujan of 85 works worth Rs 61 crore 20 lakh and inauguration of 6 works worth Rs 15 crore 80 lakh were done in Jashpur assembly constituency. Similarly, the ground breaking ceremony of 15 works worth Rs. 24 crore 90 lakh and inauguration of 4 works worth Rs. 5 crore 91 lakh were also done in Farasbahar development block under Kunkuri assembly constituency.
In his address, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai also urged to plant a tree in the name of mother. He said that the rains have started. The time is favorable. If the mother is with you, then plant a tree in the name of mother by keeping her in front or if she is deceased, then keep her photo in front. Also take the responsibility of protecting it lifelong. On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai honored the trainers of Yoga Commission by giving them certificates and symbols.

Social Welfare Minister Laxmi Rajwade said that yoga is above all kinds of discrimination. Caste, religion, women, men, all can equally benefit by practicing it. She said that everyone should take advantage of it. This is celebrated all over the world on 21st June, the biggest day of the year. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given recognition to yoga by taking it to the international platform.
This year’s yoga is based on green yoga. She appealed to all people to plant as many trees as possible. Rajwada said that the theme of Yoga Day this year is “One Earth One Health” which tells about the mutual relationship between earth and human health.
Addressing the program, Chairman of Yoga Commission Roop Narayan Sinha said that the valleys of Jashpur are very beautiful and conducive to yoga. Jashpur produces good crops like tea leaves, cashew, pear, etc. He said that the natural environment of Jashpur is more beautiful than heaven.
Yoga is not a subject of study, it is to be practiced daily and adopted in life. It is a way of living life, with which every person can remain healthy throughout life. Collector Rohit Vyas expressed his gratitude to everyone in the Yoga Day program. The welcome speech was given by Director of Social Welfare Department Roktima Yadav. Yoga instructor Chhabilal Sahu, Jyoti Sahu and their team were honored by giving a symbol.
