Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the launch ceremony of “Apnapan”, a book authored by Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan, at the Pusa campus in New Delhi on Tuesday May 26, 2026 .

The book offers an intimate account of Chouhan’s public life, his association with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and his experiences in governance and public service. Through an inspiring and emotionally engaging narrative, it presents reflections on leadership, public service, and personal sensitivities.

On the occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai congratulated Shivraj Singh Chouhan on the publication of the book and described the initiative as a meaningful effort to bring experiences from public life closer to society through literature. He said such works play a significant role in passing on the experiences, work culture, and values of public service embodied by public representatives to younger generations, Chhattisgarh CM Sai added.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a new work culture rooted in public service, good governance, and sensitive leadership has evolved in the country. Against this backdrop, he said that a book based on Chauhan’s experiences from public life would undoubtedly inspire readers and provide them with an opportunity to understand various dimensions of leadership and social service, he noted.

Several Union Ministers, Chief Ministers from different states, public representatives, and distinguished citizens were present at the event.
