Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Extends Heartfelt Greetings on the eve of Diwali and Govardhan Puja

Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo dev Sai extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on the eve of Diwali and Govardhan Puja on Sunday October 19, 2025 , saying that the festival of Diwali symbolises light, truth, and harmony.

He said that this holy festival of Diwali symbolises the victory of light over darkness, truth over falsehood, and positivity over negativity. He said that this festival of lights infuses new energy, new consciousness, and hope into our lives. The Chief Minister appealed to all citizens to celebrate Diwali with a spirit of Swadeshi, while keeping environmental protection in mind, and to share in each other’s joys and sorrows, spreading the message of love and harmony in society.

Wishing everyone a happy Govardhan Puja, Chief Minister Sai said that this festival symbolises our reverence and gratitude for nature, livestock, and the environment. CM said that Govardhan Puja teaches us that conservation of nature is the foundation of prosperity. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that this auspicious occasion of Diwali and Govardhan Puja will bring new light of happiness, prosperity and development in the state of Chhattisgarh and will spread joy, peace and light in every home. CM added. .
