The construction and upgrading of these roads will facilitate transportation in the rural areas of the district. This will benefit farmers by making it easier to transport agricultural produce, improve access to education for students, and boost local trade.
Just before the New Year, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has given a significant development gift to Jashpur district.
On the Chief Minister’s instructions, the Public Works Department has sanctioned a total of Rs 31.91 crore for the construction and upgrading of 10 important roads in the rural and remote areas of the district, with the aim of strengthening the transportation network. There is a sense of joy among the residents of the area as their long-pending demands for these roads have finally been fulfilled.
The sanctioned projects include Rs 2.47 crore for the construction of a road from NH-43 (Mudapara) to Sukbasupara via Churchpara, Rs 3.41 crore for the road from Gram Panchayat Kachhar to Sarpanch Basti Chowk (paved road) to Tirsoth, Rs 4.52 crore for the approach road from Dandpani to Khutera in Kansabel, and Rs 4.68 crore for the approach road from Pale Pakhna to Junwain.
Similarly, Rs 2.69 crore has been sanctioned for the approach road from Semarkachhar Bhattitoli to Lapai in Kansabel, Rs 1.88 crore for the approach road from Gram Panchayat Karrbewra to Pakhanapara Mado Gufa, Rs 2.61 crore for the road from Thakur Mura to Raghunathpur Joda Talab in Gram Panchayat Gharjiabathan, Rs 2.61 crore for the approach road from Gram Panchayat Pakargaon to Choraama via Turwaama, Rs 4.60 crore for the approach road from Gram Panchayat Bhagarpur to Bhagora, and Rs 2.43 crore for the approach road from Atal Chowk to Tilanga via Pandripani.
The construction and upgrading of these roads will facilitate transportation in the rural areas of the district. This will make it easier for farmers to transport their agricultural produce, improve access to education for students, and boost local trade. It will also make access to health, education, and other essential services more readily available to the people.
Villagers and elected representatives said that Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has fulfilled a long-standing demand by giving this important development gift to the district before the new year. They expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister, stating that this decision will give new momentum to the overall development of Jashpur district.
