CM Sai said that Atalji served as the Prime Minister of the country three times. He was a man without enemies, a powerful orator, a sensitive poet, and a great literary figure. Even the opposition parties were eager to listen to his speeches.

He said that through the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (Prime Minister’s Rural Roads Scheme), Atalji laid a network of paved roads to every village and connected rural India with all-weather roads, opening the doors of development to more than six lakh villages.

Through the Kisan Credit Card, farmers were provided with easily accessible agricultural loans, the benefits of which are being reaped by millions of farmers today. By forming the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Atalji gave a new direction to tribal welfare schemes.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that today, Atal complexes have been inaugurated in 115 urban local bodies of the state. Earlier, complexes had been inaugurated in 60 locations. Atal complexes are being constructed in all urban local bodies during Atalji’s birth centenary year, so that the memories of Atalji, the creator of Chhattisgarh state, remain eternal.

With Atalji’s foresight and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s strong resolve, Chhattisgarh is rapidly moving towards becoming a developed state. He said that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) 2.0, 1023 houses have been sanctioned in Raipur.

MLA Kiran Singh Deo said that Atalji fulfilled his promise and gave Chhattisgarh the form of a separate state. Today, the double-engine government is working with commitment for the development of all sections of society. He said that the country experienced the concept of ‘good governance’ under Atalji’s leadership.
