Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday December 25 , 2025 paid humble tributes to Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee by garlanding his statue at the Chief Minister’s residence in Raipur on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
Chief Minister Sai said that Atal Ji’s entire life was dedicated to the national interest. He will forever remain immortal in the hearts of the countrymen due to his commitment to the protection of democratic values, the establishment of good governance, and a broad vision for public welfare. He was not only a great statesman but also a sensitive poet, a visionary leader, and a compassionate public figure who made politics a powerful medium for public service.
Chief Minister Sai said that under Atal Ji’s leadership, the country achieved a new direction in development, transparency, and good governance. His resolve to extend the benefits of development to the last person in society remains the central basis of our governance policy today. This very spirit guides every program, scheme, and decision of the Chhattisgarh government.
Chief Minister Sai said that efforts are continuously underway in Chhattisgarh to strengthen good governance through administrative reforms, transparent systems, timely delivery of services, and restoration of public trust. This journey draws energy from Atal Ji’s thoughts, ideals, and inspiration.
The Chief Minister appealed to the people of the state to adopt the ideals of Atal Bihari Vajpayee – honesty, sensitivity, dialogue, and inclusive development – in their lives and work, and to become active participants in building a developed Chhattisgarh and a developed India.
