Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday December 28 , 2025 paid heartfelt tributes to the renowned public leader Kushabhau Thackeray on his death anniversary by offering flowers at his portrait at the Chief Minister’s residence office in Raipur.

Member of Parliament Santosh Pandey, MLA Prabodh Minj, MLA Purandar Mishra, and several other public representatives were present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Sai said that Kushabhau Thackeray’s entire life was dedicated to national interest and social service. He considered public service, not the attainment of power, as the ultimate goal of politics. Value-based politics, character, discipline, and diligence were the hallmarks of his public life.

Chief Minister Sai said that Kushabhau Thackeray made a significant contribution to strengthening Indian democracy. His role in spreading democratic values ​​will always be remembered. He was a rare leader who connected with people through his simplicity and warmth.

Chief Minister stated that Kushabhau Thackeray had a deep and affectionate connection with Chhattisgarh. His life inspires us to believe that the fundamental purpose of politics should be service, national interest, and social welfare.

The Chief Minister said that the sacred memories of Kushabhau Thackeray are a source of inspiration for all of us and will continue to inspire us to remain actively engaged in public welfare work, Sai added .
