Raipur: On the auspicious occasion of Sawan month, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, along with his wife Kaushalya Sai, reached Shri Faleshwarnath Mahadev Temple at Bagiya on Thursday July 24, 2025 and performed the Puja of Lord Shiva with following the rituals seeking happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people of the state.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also listened to the Shiv Mahapuran Katha being narrated by the famous storyteller Kishori Rajkumari Tiwari.

After completing his Puja Chief Minister said that may the blessings of Lord Bholenath remain on everyone and our country and Chhattisgarh continue to move forward in the direction of development, peace and prosperity.

He said that with the blessings of Lord Shri Bholenath, the Chhattisgarh government is working dedicatedly for the welfare of the state. Attracted by the new industrial policy of our government, investment proposals worth about Rs 6.5 lakh crore have been received in the last six to eight months. The state government has created government job opportunities for the youth.

On this occasion, the construction of 01 lakh 108 earthen Shivlingas and special Puja was performed in the premises of Faleshwarnath Mahadev temple with completed devotion and faith following the scriptural rituals.

This aim of making 01 lakh 108 earthen Shivlingas started on Tuesday July 22 , 2025 and was concluded today on Thursday July 24 , 2025 . A large number of devotees have participated enthusiastically in the entire veneration . Devotees participated in the making of earthen Shivlings whole heartedly . The worship and ritual were organised by eminent learned pundits according to the scriptural methods, due to which the atmosphere became full of devotion ,spiritual and positive energy.

On this occasion, District Panchayat Chairman Salik Sai, Commissioner Narendra Dugga, IG Deepak Kumar Jha, Collector Shri Rohit Vyas, Superintendent of Police Shashi Mohan Singh, District Panchayat CEO Abhishek Kumar, public representatives and a large number of villagers were present.
