“Lakhpati Didi Samvad” program to be organised in Raipur to commemorate International Women’s Day
Raipur: To commemorate International Women’s Day, the Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihood Mission (Bihan) under the Panchayat and Rural Development Department is organising the “Lakhpati Didi Samvad” program on March 7, 2026, at the Raipur Indoor Stadium. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will attend this prestigious event as the chief guest.
The program will be presided over by Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma. Senior officials and employees of the Panchayat and Rural Development Department will also be present, along with local public representatives. Thousands of Lakhpati Didis from across the state will participate in the program.
Chief Minister Sai will interact with these women, listen to their success stories, and learn about the positive changes in their lives through various government schemes. This program will serve as an important platform to share efforts being made towards women’s self-reliance and empowerment.
During the event, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will release a coffee table book on Lakhpati Didi and a brand book on Chhattisgarhi art.
The Lakhpati Didi Gram Portal will also be launched. These publications will comprehensively showcase the achievements and inspiring journeys of self-reliance of women associated with self-help groups.
The program will also honor outstanding self-help group women, cadres, and Lakhpati Didis from across the state.
This event will highlight the Chhattisgarh government’s continued efforts towards women’s economic empowerment and inspire other women to become self-reliant.
