Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Wishes Eminent Writer Vinod Kumar Shukla a Speedy Recovery

Vinod Kumar Shukla is an eminent Hindi writer known for his unique style . He is the first writer from Chhattisgarh to receive the 59th Janpaith Award -File Photo

Raipur:Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has extended his heartfelt wishes for the early restoration of health and strength of India’s distinguished writer and Jnanpith Award laureate, Vinod Kumar Shukla on Wednesday october 29, 2025 .

Chief Minister Sai spoke over the phone today with Vinod Kumar Shukla’s son, Shaswat Shukla, to inquire about the author’s health condition.

Calling him “an invaluable treasure of Chhattisgarh’s literary heritage,” Chief Minister Sai said that Vinod Kumar Shukla’s creative works capture the soul of our language, emotion, and culture. He prayed to Lord Shri Ram for the renowned author’s sound health and longevity.

It is worth mentioning that Vinod Kumar Shukla, who has been unwell for the past few days, is currently receiving medical care at a private hospital in Raipur.
