Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Wednesday October 22, 2025 worshipped the cow at the Gaushala located at the Chief Minister’s residence in Raipur on the occasion of Govardhan Puja and followed the tradition of cow service by feeding them Khichdi.
On this occasion, he wished the people of the state happiness, prosperity, peace, and well-being.
Chief Minister Sai said that Govardhan Puja is a sacred festival to express gratitude towards nature, cattle, and the environment. The Chief Minister extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state on Govardhan Puja.
During the distribution of Prasad after the puja, Chief Minister Sai honored the cow protectors serving at the Gaushala by personally serving them sweets. He commended them for their service to the cows and urged everyone to come forward to protect and protect the cattles.
During this, Chief Minister Sai inspected the arrangements made at the Gaushala. The cow protectors informed the Chief Minister that all arrangements for cows are in place at the cowshed.
Chief Minister Sai said that Govardhan Puja symbolises gratitude to nature, food, and livestock in our lives. The cow is the cornerstone of Indian culture, integral not only to our rural lives but also central to both our economy and faith.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that the spirit of cow service and nature worship is deeply ingrained in the soil of Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister said that respecting the cow, food, and the earth is a tribute to the mother power with which our lives are connected.
When we pay homage to them, we touch the roots of our culture, the depths of our soul, and the sources of prosperity.
The Chief Minister said that in our culture, the cow is revered as Mother Cow, and with this spirit, the State Government is working to make cow service the pivot of rural development.
