Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has made a big announcement on Hindi Day and spoke about starting studies in Hindi in all the medical colleges of the state. Addressing the journalists in the presence of Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal at his residence office in the capital, the Chief Minister said that our government has decided that we will also make arrangements for MBBS studies in Hindi. In the first session of this year 2024-25, the facility of MBBS studies will also be available in Hindi. For this, instructions have been given to the Health Department to provide necessary books as per the number of students. While wishing Hindi Day, the Chief Minister said that the significance of Hindi Day lies in the fact that we implement Hindi at every level of governance, administration and education.
The Chief Minister said that at present there are 10 government medical colleges in the state. The biggest benefit of providing medical education in Hindi will be to our students from rural background, who are mostly from Hindi medium, who are talented but due to English they face some difficulty in medical courses. Now this problem will be overcome. This will also strengthen the base of medical students and will help more in preparing good doctors. The biggest advantage of providing education in mother tongue is that it creates a detailed understanding of the subject. We are determined to implement it at every level in Chhattisgarh.
