Bhubaneswar : Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday paid a courtesy visit to former Chhattisgarh Governor and senior politician Vishwabhushan Harichandan at his residence in Bhubaneswar during his visit to Odisha.

Sai met Harichandan and enquired about his well-being. The meeting was described as a courtesy call.

Harichandan has a long association with Chhattisgarh, having served as Governor of the State before subsequently taking charge as Governor of Andhra Pradesh.

During the meeting, the two leaders exchanged greetings in a cordial atmosphere. Sai’s visit to the former Governor’s residence came as part of his Odisha tour.

Harichandan, a veteran political leader from Odisha, has held several public and political responsibilities during his long career. His tenure as Governor also established a close institutional association with Chhattisgarh.
