Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday June 30 , 2025 met the students of Sukma district who came on an educational tour at the Ministry Mahanadi Bhawan at Nava Raipur . Chief Minister Sai enquired about their well-being and welcomed them in the capital Raipur.

The Chief Minister asked the youth to study a lot and move forward. The Chhattisgarh government is standing with you . The faces of the youth of the Naxal-affected area started glowing after meeting the Chief Minister.

Deputy Chief Ministeri Vijay Sharma was also present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai had a cordial discussion with the students of Sukma district. He said that Naxalites are against development. They do not want the people of Bastar to get basic facilities like water, electricity, roads and schools. The government’s priority is the development of Bastar. Very soon Naxalism will end from Bastar.

The Chief Minister spoke to the students from remote areas of the state with great love and  comprehended  the information about them.

Chief Minister Sai asked the youths, how they felt after coming to Raipur? In response to which the students replied that most of them of the group have come to the capital Raipur for the very first time. Most of them saw Jagdalpur for the first time during the tour .

It feels very good to come to Raipur from their village for the first time. New things are being seen. Today they got the opportunity to see the ministry and understand the functioning, Students said .

The Chief Minister said that this experience will definitely be beneficial for you. Take full benefit of this visit and enrich your knowledge and personality .

Chief Minister Sai discussed with the students of Sukma especially about their education. Youths of different age groups told the Chief Minister that they are studying in class 10th, 12th and up to college. The youths boldly communicated with the down to earth Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai.

During discussion , a student asked the Chief Minister that he is studying in the second year of B.Sc., while another student stood up and said that he too is a BA final year student. Chief Minister Sai appreciated the youth’s interest in studies and encouraged them to move forward with their studies .

It is worth mentioning that under the Swami Vivekanand Yuva Protsahan Yojana, educational tour program is being organised for the youth of Bastar division under the Niyad Nellnar program. In the sequence, 95 students of Sukma district have come to the capital Raipur on a 2-day educational tour. The group includes 77 boys and 18 girls students .
