Chhattisgarh Proud as Its Daughter Akanksha Satyavanshi Contributes to Historic Victory, Says Chief Minister Sai

Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the Indian Women’s Cricket Team for their historic achievement in becoming World Champions. He said this victory is not only a moment of immense pride for the entire nation but holds special significance for Chhattisgarh as well.

Chief Minister Sai emphasised that this proud achievement also reflects the contribution of Chhattisgarh’s talented daughter, Akanksha Satyavanshi, whose efforts have brought glory to the state. Hailing from Kawardha district, Akanksha Satyavanshi served the Indian team as a Physiotherapist and Sports Science Expert, playing a vital role in maintaining the players’ peak fitness, recovery, and performance throughout the tournament.

He further noted that Akanksha had earlier been associated with the Chhattisgarh Women’s Cricket Team and the Under-19 Indian Women’s Cricket Team. Her dedication to player fitness, her scientific approach, and her professional excellence have been crucial elements behind this historic triumph.

Chief Minister Sai remarked that daughters like Akanksha Satyavanshi are illuminating the name of Chhattisgarh across India and the world. Extending his warm wishes on behalf of the state, he said Akanksha’s achievement will inspire countless young women to pursue their dreams with determination and confidence.

“The victory,” the Chief Minister said, “is a triumph of women’s power, hard work, and self-belief. We are proud that in this glorious moment, a daughter of Chhattisgarh has made a meaningful contribution.”
