CM Vishnu Deo Sai Strengthens Chhattisgarh’s Global Connect in Japan, from Investments to Space Tech

Raipur: On the second day of his Japan visit on Saturday August 23 , 2025 , Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, accompanied by the state delegation, undertook key engagements to strengthen industrial cooperation and global partnerships for Chhattisgarh.

At a high-level meeting with the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO), discussions centered on sectoral diversification, trade and technology collaboration, infrastructure development, and emerging investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister highlighted the state’s investor-friendly policies, recent reforms, and the strong support being extended to startups and new-age industries.

Underscoring the role of advanced technologies in shaping Chhattisgarh’s future, C M Sai also visited the space technology exhibition “Deep Space – To the Moon and Beyond” in Tokyo. The visit assumes special significance with the upcoming Space Manufacturing Cluster at Rajnandgaon, being developed in collaboration with the Government of India, which will further integrate Chhattisgarh into the global space economy.

Later in the day, the Chief Minister interacted with members of the Indian community in Japan. He apprised them of the state’s recent policy initiatives, investment climate, and focus on large-scale job creation. Members of the diaspora, in turn, expressed their support and commitment to strengthening linkages by encouraging Japanese businesses to explore opportunities in Chhattisgarh.

These engagements mark a continuation of Chhattisgarh’s efforts to position itself as a competitive and forward-looking investment destination on the global stage.
