Raipur: On the second day of his Japan visit on Saturday August 23 , 2025 , Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, accompanied by the state delegation, undertook key engagements to strengthen industrial cooperation and global partnerships for Chhattisgarh.
At a high-level meeting with the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO), discussions centered on sectoral diversification, trade and technology collaboration, infrastructure development, and emerging investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh. The Chief Minister highlighted the state’s investor-friendly policies, recent reforms, and the strong support being extended to startups and new-age industries.

Underscoring the role of advanced technologies in shaping Chhattisgarh’s future, C M Sai also visited the space technology exhibition “Deep Space – To the Moon and Beyond” in Tokyo. The visit assumes special significance with the upcoming Space Manufacturing Cluster at Rajnandgaon, being developed in collaboration with the Government of India, which will further integrate Chhattisgarh into the global space economy.

Later in the day, the Chief Minister interacted with members of the Indian community in Japan. Members of the diaspora, in turn, expressed their support and commitment to strengthening linkages by encouraging Japanese businesses to explore opportunities in Chhattisgarh.
