CO Anuj Chaudhary gets promotion, becomes ASP, had made headlines due to Sambhal controversy

The famous CO Anuj Chaudhary posted in Chandausi Circle of Sambhal has been promoted. Now the government has made him ASP. Anuj Chaudhary, who was recruited as a PPS officer through sports quota in 2012, came into the limelight after Sambhal violence, carrying a mace during Kishkindha Rath Yatra and the statement ‘Holi comes once a year, Friday comes 52 times’.

Had made headlines with ‘Holi comes once a year’

One of his statements ‘Holi comes once a year, but Friday comes 52 times’ was quite in the news. On this statement of his, CM Yogi had said, ‘If he is a wrestler, he will speak like a wrestler.’ This comment brought Anuj Chaudhary even more into the limelight.
