Raipur: India’s first AI based rackbank data center SEZ will be built in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh. This special economic zone will be completely connected to computers, internet and AI

India’s first AI-focused Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is now going to be built in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh. This will be a special area that is being prepared only for the development and operation of technologies related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and computer data.

There will be state-of-the-art computer systems and servers here, which will run AI systems with thinking-like capabilities and big companies of the world will do their digital work from here. The government has given tax and other legal exemptions to this SEZ so that new technologies can be developed rapidly. This is the first time that such an area is being built in India completely focused on AI, due to which Nava Raipur will emerge as the country’s next digital and technological hub. Through this project, a big leap is being considered towards making India a technology leader at the global level.

Country’s first AI based data center
India’s first AI-based Rackbank Data Center SEZ will be built in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh. This special economic zone will be fully connected to computers, internet and artificial intelligence (AI). This project is being developed by Rackbank Data Centers Private Limited, in which an investment of about one thousand crores will be made.

Plan to build four high-density data centers
This special economic zone will be spread over an area of about 6 acres and a data center of 1.5 lakh square feet equipped with modern technology will be built in it. In the future, there is a plan to build four high-density data centers, whose total capacity will be 80 megawatts, which will be able to handle the digital network of many states. This project will give Chhattisgarh a new position on the technological map of the country.

‘This is the beginning of Nava Chhattisgarh’

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai has described it as the new beginning of Nava Chhattisgarh and said that this investment will bring new employment opportunities for the youth and technical identity for the state. Also, this scheme will take forward the vision of Digital India and Make in India.

Rackbank CEO Narendra Sen said that the data center will have IT engineers, data experts, cyber security officers, network managers and many other positions. The company will also run training programs in collaboration with ITI, engineering and polytechnic institutes of Chhattisgarh, so that students can prepare for the industry.

These companies will run the service

It is worth mentioning that in today’s world AI is not limited to computers only. It is also deciding the direction of our language, thinking, education, health and even agriculture. This data center being built in Raipur will become the center of these services. AI services of companies like Google, OpenAI, Microsoft and Meta will run here. For the first time, India will not only become a consumer of these services, but will also become a self-reliant manufacturer and host.
