The police made the arrest after a day-long high-voltage political drama on Saturday. On his arrest, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma said that MLA Devendra Yadav was not cooperating with the police.
For this reason, he had to be arrested. Strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in this incident. Devendra Yadav took the help of a white flag during the arrest. He is trying to connect a particular community with the arrest. The action has not been taken with any kind of malice. I appeal to everyone to maintain peace in the state.

Whereas, BJP leader Sanam Jangde’s role was in the entire program. Despite this, no action was taken against him. Devendra Yadav had no role in this case, yet he has been arrested.

He further said that the police should not take action under political pressure. We are taking legal advice in this matter and we will also fight a political battle for his arrest.
