Sanoj Mishra arrested: Director Sanoj Mishra, who offered a film to Mahakumbh Mela’s viral girl Monalisa, has been arrested by Delhi Police in a rape case. The Delhi High Court had rejected his anticipatory bail plea. It is alleged that Sanoj raped a girl from a small town, who aspired to become a heroine, several times.

According to the victim, she met the accused film director in 2020 through social media platforms TikTok and Instagram. The victim told in the FIR that from there the accused took her to a resort and raped her after giving her intoxicants. The accused also made objectionable pictures and videos of her and threatened to make them viral. After this, on the pretext of marriage, he took her to different places several times and had physical relations with her. He also lured her with work in films. In this hope, the victim came to Mumbai and started living with the accused. The accused continued to exploit her there as well.
