Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka holds a Diwali Milan Samaroh at Raj Bhavan

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, along with public representatives and dignitaries, were present on the occasion .

Raipur: A Diwali Milan Ceremony was held at the Raj Bhavan on Wednesday october 22, 2025 on the occasion of Diwali, with Governor Ramen Deka as the chief guest. Deka inaugurated the event by lighting a lamp. He extended his heartfelt greetings to all the guests on the occasion of Diwali, wishing them happiness, peace, and prosperity. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai was a special guest at the ceremony.

The Chief Minister and the invited guests also extended their heartfelt greetings to the Governor on the occasion. The First Lady of the State, Rani Deka Kakoti, and the Governor’s family were also present at the event .

The program showcased the glorious culture of Chhattisgarh through various colorful performances. The traditional Chhattisgarh folk dance, Raut Naach, was performed by Keshav Ram Yadav and his group, and the melodious singing of Sufi singer Padmashree Madan Chauhan and the bhajan rendition by MLA Anuj Sharma added to the excitement of the ceremony.

Chief Justice of Chhattisgarh High Court Ramesh Sinha, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Culture Minister Rajesh Agrawal, Chief Secretary Vikassheel Director General of Police Arun Dev Gautam, MP Roop Kumari Chaudhary, MLAs, former Governor Ramesh Bais , Secretary to Governor Dr. C.R. Prasanna along with other officials and dignitaries were present in the program.
