New Delhi : Bharatiya Janata Party President JP Nadda on Thursday January 9, 2025 chaired the election committee meeting ahead of the assembly elections in Delhi. The purpose of this important meeting was to review the preparations for the Delhi elections before the elections. About 43 committees formed to oversee various aspects of the Delhi elections such as booth management, social media, advertising etc. will give feedback during the meeting. The BJP is gearing up to contest the elections and JP Nadda gave guidance on the way forward.
According to sources, during the meeting, JP Nadda gave a clear message to the BJP leaders that we have to fight unitedly, because this time we have every chance of winning the elections. Nadda told those who wanted tickets that those who did not get the ticket should not feel disheartened , because the fight is to bring the party back to power after 26 years.
According to news agency ANI, Virendra Sachdeva, Vijayant Panda, Alka Gurjar, Union Minister Harsh Malhotra, Manoj Tiwari, Yogesh Chandolia, Satish Upadhyay, Manjit Singh Sirsa, Vijendra Gupta, Kamaljit Sehrawat, Praveen Khandelwal, Pawan Sharma, Dr. Harsh Vardhan and Bansuri Swaraj and others were present in this meeting. JP Nadda reviewed the progress and shared the mantra of success with the members.
Meanwhile, BJP has intensified its attack on AAP. BJP candidate Arvinder Singh Lovely said that Delhi is ready for a government that does not make excuses. He said, “The administrative structure in Delhi has completely collapsed. The government which has been saying for 10 years that the central government and the Lieutenant Governor are not allowing them to work and will not let them do so in the future, then why are you contesting elections? If you are not being allowed to work then you are contesting elections only to live in the Sheesh Mahal. The people of Delhi are ready for such a government which does not make excuses.”
Let us inform you that the Delhi Assembly elections will be held in a single phase on February 5, while the counting of votes will be done on February 8. The last date for filing nominations is January 17. The date for scrutiny of nominations is January 18.
