Once again the havoc of speed has been seen in the district. In which a car driver in a drunken state hit two different bike riders. In which four people died. This horrific road accident took place last night near Sevara village on Dubatia Majhgawan main road under Pendra police station area.

The incident happened when two bike riders were coming from Dhanpur towards Pendra. At the same time, a high speed car rider Snehil Gupta, a resident of Marwahi, who was drunk, hit the bike from the front. The collision was so severe that both the bikes were shattered and three youths riding both the bikes died on the spot, while a seriously injured girl was brought to the district hospital for immediate treatment. From where he was referred to Bilaspur after first aid.

But the girl also died on the way. According to the information, it was the birthday of the deceased Ganga Ram alias Sagar yesterday and after dropping his friend at Dhanpur, he was returning home to Girari with his girlfriend Sonu Kewat and was on a Pulsar bike. At that time, the car hit him while the other bike rider, two youths Bhupendra Marabi and Ramavatar Singh, both residents of Barghat village, had gone to Mahora village to attend the Dashagarh program and after the program were returning home to Barghat on an iSmart bike. He was also hit by the same car driver. The car’s collision was so strong that both the bikes were shattered.

The car hit both the bike riders riding on the other side and both the bikes fell 20 meters and 50 meters away from the car. At present, the police have registered a case and started investigating the matter. If the police officer who reached the spot is to be believed, then a case will be registered against the car driver under serious sections and the matter will be investigated. The family members are crying bitterly since the incident.
