Raipur: An interactive session was organised with the registered members of the Kelo Vihar Government Employees Housing Cooperative Society, Raigarh, at the ‘Srijan Kaksh’ (Creation Hall) located within the Collectorate premises, in the presence of Finance Minister and Raigarh MLA, O.P. Choudhary on Saturday April 25, 2026 .
The event was organised by the District Administration of Raigarh.
During the session, Minister Choudhary engaged in a direct dialogue with the society members and issued directives to officials regarding the expansion of residential amenities, the speedy resolution of pending cases, and the timely delivery of benefits to eligible beneficiaries.
He stated that the government’s objective is to provide residential rights and basic amenities to every eligible family.
Minister Choudhary noted that the Kelo Vihar land lease issue has been a long-pending and sensitive matter. Many individuals had built their homes years ago but had been unable to secure ownership rights. Now, with the receipt of these land leases, their dreams are finally becoming a reality.
He emphasised that real change in the lives of the public becomes possible only when the government and the administration function with sensitivity and empathy.
He added that, in particular, ensuring that senior citizen beneficiaries receive their rightful entitlements is a matter of great satisfaction.

During the program, demand letters and land leases for land allotment across various categories were distributed to eligible beneficiaries. Recipients included Dr. Dhanraj Prasad Sahu, Dulichand Dewangan, and S.H. Khodyar in the 2,400 sq. ft. category; Bhawani Shankar Patnaik in the 1,800 sq. ft. category; and . I.S. in the 1,500 sq. ft. category.
Leases were granted to parihar , Kedarnath Pradhan, and Basanti Sarkar; to Khageshwar Patel and Mathura Prasad Namdev in the 1,200 sq. ft. category; and to Suryakumar Panda, Triloki Nath Pujari, Shrivatsa Panda, and Balkrishna Dansena in the 960 sq. ft. category.
According to the District Administration, a total of 103 eligible beneficiaries have been identified in the first phase, and proceedings regarding the remaining cases are underway in accordance with the rules.
The event was attended by the Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat, Abhijit Baban Pathare; Additional Collector Ravi Rahi; and Joint Collector Rakesh Golcha, along with other officials and employees of the District Administration, as well as committee office-bearers and members.
