Officials aware of the entire matter say that the helicopter made an emergency landing in the sea near Porbandar on Monday September 2 night.

This helicopter was engaged in evacuating people trapped in the floods in Gujarat and delivering relief material. The Coast Guard has deployed 4 ships and two aircrafts in this operation. So far, the Indian Coast Guard’s Advanced Light Helicopter has saved the lives of 67 people during the floods and cyclone in Gujarat. In a statement issued by the Coast Guard, it was said that it had to make an emergency landing at around 11 pm. The helicopter had gone for medical rescue.
