Ensure prompt implementation of Chief Minister’s directives: Chief Secretary Vikas Sheel

Raipur: Chief Secretary Vikas Sheel said that prompt and effective implementation of the directives given by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai at the Collector’s Conference should be ensured. He directed all departmental secretaries to prepare concrete action plans for roads, drinking water, electricity, health, and other priority sectors. The Chief Secretary was reviewing the progress of implementation of schemes with the acting secretaries of various departments at a high-level meeting held today at the Secretariat (Mahanadi Bhawan).

During the meeting, the Chief Secretary took detailed information about the action plans of the departments involved in the Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti Yojana. He directed that the works for which the foundation stone has been laid should be completed and inaugurated within the stipulated timeframe.

In the meeting, Secretary of the Department of Commerce and Industry, Rajat Kumar, gave a presentation on the Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti Yojana and the procurement process being carried out by government departments through the GeM portal. Similarly, Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister and Commissioner of Public Relations, Dr. Ravi Mittal gave a detailed presentation on the activities related to the promotion of government schemes by the Public Relations Department.

Additional Chief Secretary Home and Jail, Manoj Kumar Pingua, Additional Chief Secretary of Forest and Climate Change Department, Richa Sharma, Principal Secretary of Tribal and Scheduled Tribe Development Department, Sonmoni Borah , Principal Secretary of Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Niharika Barik, along with secretaries of all departments were present in the meeting.
